Installing a modpack

Direct import

From the panel, the Import a modpack option accepts a CurseForge or Modrinth link, or a server export file (.zip). Installation automatically downloads and places the mods, the configuration, and the right Forge/NeoForge/Fabric jar.

Sizing your RAM

A heavy modpack (100+ mods) typically needs 6 to 8 GB minimum — see ourper-modpack recommendations. Since RAM is never oversold at RMDCGames, what you choose is what you actually get.

Updating a modpack

Updating a modpack sometimes changes the world save format — always back up your world before a major version upgrade (see backups).
