Your server, one month free
RMDCGames is in alpha. Here's what that means, unvarnished.
What "alpha" means here
The infrastructure is built and tested, but nobody has used it for real yet. That's what the alpha is for: testers set up a real server, play on it for a month, and tell me what breaks. Ordering, startup, console, backups, support — all of it has to hold before I ask anyone for a euro.
So you may well hit a rough edge. That's the point. In exchange you pay nothing and you have someone on the other end.
What you get
- A server of your own, set up with you, on the plan that fits your project.
- A full month, free, with no payment method to hand over.
- The Alpha badge on Discord — you keep it afterwards.
- A direct line to me: type /ticket and it opens a private thread.
What I ask of you
- That you actually play on it. An empty server tests nothing.
- That you tell me what's off — however small, however silly it feels.
No payment method, no commitment, no auto-renewal. Nothing to cancel.
And at the end of the month?
Your server stops. It is not deleted: your world, your plugins and your backups stay put. You simply tell me whether you want to carry on — in which case we move to a paid plan — or stop there, and you take your backup with you wherever you like.
Nobody is charged automatically, because I hold no payment method of yours. You come back to me, never the other way round.
How to apply
On Discord, type /ticket
with the subject alpha. Tell me what you want to
build and how many of you there'll be. I reply within 24 hours.
I'm on my own at support, so I review applications one by one to look after each tester properly. Applications close on 30 September.
