Terms of sale
Purpose
These terms govern the sale of game server hosting services by RMDCGames MC (see legal notice) to its customers, whether individuals or businesses.
Pricing and VAT
Prices shown on the site are in euros, net of tax. As RMDCGames MC operates under the French VAT exemption scheme (article 293 B of the Tax Code), no VAT is currently collected. Each invoice carries the mention "TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI".
Subscription and minors
Subscribing to a plan requires a valid account. Any non-emancipated minor must obtain express authorization from their legal guardian before placing an order; a dedicated checkbox will be present at checkout. A contract entered into by a non-emancipated minor without this authorization may be cancelled at their legal guardian's request.
Minecraft licence agreement (Mojang EULA)
Running a Minecraft server is subject to Mojang's End User Licence Agreement ("EULA"). By subscribing to an offer, you confirm that you have read it and that you accept it for the server made available to you, of which you are the operator.
So that your server is usable as soon as it is delivered, this acceptance is written
automatically into its configuration at install time. You may withdraw it at any point from
your client area by editing your server's eula.txt file; the server will then
stop starting up, in accordance with Mojang's rules.
It is your responsibility to comply with Mojang's EULA and Commercial Usage Guidelines in how you use your server, in particular regarding what you may sell to your own players.
Right of withdrawal
Under consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. As the service is digital content supplied immediately after ordering (automatic provisioning), immediate performance requires your express consent and your express waiver of the right of withdrawal, collected separately at the time of order.
Refunds
A refund is available within 48 hours of ordering, on simple request, with no justification needed.
Termination
In case of non-payment, a reminder sequence is triggered before any suspension and then termination of the service, on timelines to be specified before commercial launch.
Disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the courts having jurisdiction over the publisher's registered office (Lyon, France) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Pursuant to articles L. 616-1 and R. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, any consumer customer is entitled to use a consumer mediation service free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute. Competent mediator: [TO BE COMPLETED — pending registration with an accredited mediation service].
